The Wincent Hickory 5A Drumsticks are ideal for light and fast players looking for the Wincent reliability and performance. These anti-split sticks have a unique wax coating for protection and the US Hickory is kiln dried to the perfect level for maximum durability. These drumsticks create especially good cymbal sounds.
A special wax formula ensures the stick can withstand heavy treatment but is flexible enough to absorb the hits on the drum rims and cymbal edges. This wax prevents the tips from cracking up.
This unique wax formula, together with keeping the Hickory at the correct moisture level during manufacturing ensures that the wood stays in shape and prevents the rim shot area from cracking.
Every pair of Wincent drumsticks is weight matched within a tolerance of just 3 grams. They are also inspected for the straightness of the grain and a computer controlled manufacture process ensures equal pitch.
The model number is printed on the end of every Wincent stick making them easy to identify when in your stick bag even in dimmer light conditions.
