Vic Firth 2B Wood Tip

One of the heaviest sticks that Vic Firth produce, the Vic Firth 2B is a staple for heavy rock drummers.  Long and chunky in the hand, the 2B is ideally suited for big back beats, and is not really suited for flying around the kit with intricate fills, unless you have the skills (and arms) of Thomas Lang!

The 2B is one of the longest standard sticks available, that isn’t an artist signature stick, at 16.25” long and also one of the largest in diameter at 0.630”.  These are obviously a very heavy stick, however being made from Hickory, these are lighter than if they were made from Oak which is a much denser wood.
